Yeah, I'm in search of some new casting rotations to maximize DPS, due to the RoK expansion. Mainly single target encounters.

My current order is as follows -

F/C - Distortion - FHS - Armageddon - Aura - Flames - Encase, then basically chuck up anything that has cooled down. Dots seem pointless due to the length of each encounter. (Heroic Encounters), My raid Rotation is sorted)

I spose it depends on group and length of encounter... but at least make sure you are precasting gift of bertox and casting netherealm real close to when mob is inc.

I use dots if it makes sense early on, long as you know duration will be less than fight time.

Precast Gift then Realm, focused casting, catalyst, fhs, armageddon, aura, flames, dots, distortion, absolution, dissolve. This can all be done in the time that focused casting is up and has worked very well for me. Yes, absolution is kind of a waste of power but with all the power gear there is this expansion I dont see it as being a problem. The dots can add a substantial amount of dps even though it may seem small.

btw, in case no one has figured it out, realm + acid storm on a multimob linked or unlinked encounter is disgusting dps.
