I am going back and forth at the moment between

Split Infinity/Praetor's Guard and Wocp/praetor's guard/ Necromantic orb of Death Revelor.

just curious what everyone else is using and sugestions. Thanks

since i dont have a staff of light, volcanic wand, dark orb of the mind, death revelers, would gladly change death revelers for a praetors guard if one would drop for me...

Baton > Wocp

Volcanic Wand > Baton

Frigid Piercer > Volcanic Wand

I am hoping for a boost on volcanic tho

Yah, it's trash.

I don't see how people can say that the WoCP is lower quality than all those other items. Do they somehow increase your DPS by a whole 8%? If not, then they are lesser quality than the WoCP, unless you have a DotM. Basically, you either have a WoCP, or you have a DotM. There is only those 2 items. You either use 1 of them, or you don't live up to your DPS potential.

So should we put together a list of the gear every warlock(mage) should strive to get? My guild is stuck on Ventril, so i'm certainly not the one to do it. Perpetuality Baton aside, i really don't have much in the RoK raid category aside from some +crit gloves out of Protectors, everything else is from heroic instances and questing.

Cal, care to give us some insight? You or Vel has more RoK raid time under your belts than any of us i believe.

/shrug I use volcanic wand and I don't have the orb cause i never won it. When I have Fury, Troub, Warlock, Wiz, Illu, Conj in my group and TC on me (rarely... but when I do) I run 4300dps average with high parses of 5200. I have no robe of al'kabor but instead use the crappy robe from SoF with the 10% cast speed boost and decrease of casting skills cause I've had shitty luck on robes... if I am not filling my potential as a warlock without using one of those two items then please inform me where I should be........

well w/o the robe but having a few other things ive managed 5.6-5.7 k sinlge target, soo not much more to hope for but base damage is extremely hard to upgrade
