loot you should be aiming for, that i know of...
Helm: VP set helm
Cloak: venril sathir > tnt cloak > sage cloak
BP: Hoshgar robe > Al'Kabor | VP Robe (this depends on what your lacking
on stats since hoshgar robe has 9 Crit and spl dmg, and VPset robe is
10% reuse, al'kabor if you have one and are no where near spell haste
cap)
Shoulders: Symbol of the Eaten > crit shoulders from overking > other
shite
Cuffs: Hoshgar cuffs > silk underlay (not sure what else is out there worth
mentioning)
Gloves: ones from FTH > fish gloves > crit gloves
Pants: Reuse pants off kluzen > crit pants off overking > ??
Boots: VPset > VW > ??
Neck: 5Crit from last named in PR > all...
Ear: 4crit from PR and ?? I use the reuse one from avatars ??
Ring: four winds and cast speed one off qunard ashenclaw
Wrist: legendary one from Doom, 4crit and spl damage, I'm still using the
thule, fill in other slot with what ev.
Waist: BCG > all....

edit: my opinion, not anyone else's... add what you want, but thats what i see for me. least till trakanon table is opened and contesteds

Good post, however i'm gonna have to disagree with a few points:
1/ Cloak from VS an TNT cloak have both situational use, whether or not i have TC i switch them around, can't really say one is better in any situation.
2/ I have a robe of al'kabor so lemme assure you no robe i've seen so far in this expansion doesn't even come close to think about replacing it.
3/ there's some crit shoulders i believe called mantle of prexus or something who own the symbol of the eaten.
4/ No way that the 5% crit neck from PR owns the necklace of pain as well. While in terms of dps they would be pretty equal i'm absolutely sure NoP > all.
5/ Fuck the stupid remorseless hoop. Orb of the invoker/crystal gift/ Remnant of the chime situationally with the tnt set as ring for trash (combined with TC) and Hoop of planar power. I don't have the earring of unkempt power though i'd definitely put it as a must wear.
6/ No way either Frigid piercer owns SoL. SoL > Frigid piercer > WoCP > the 4% reuse wand whatever his name was.

but for those of us who dont have a robe of alkabor ~
and i agree on the cloaks, yet i have neither and would prefer the vs one
about the necklace of pain, of course it destroys the 5crit one however is no longer available so the 5 crit one would be the next best in my opinion, less you think wraith touched would still be better... however some procs seem to be being resisted a good deal. and the mantle of prexis shoulders off of leviathon suck nuts, no more spell crit gained, better hp/power then the symbol of the eaten that is all, not much of an upgrade imo. on the earrings i had bad luck with char landing, maybe i'll try it out again but meh, remnant ofchime or planar power would do better, yet again are unavailable, and i can't get a SoL cause im SoL, and my 5% reuse wand is better when im using Dark orb, perpetuality baton the 4% reuse wand can choke on a hotdog for all i care and a frigid piercer would be fun to screw around with.

Appreciate the list. Our guild never got to Avatars in EoF, we progressed through MMIS Mayong and PHH, no further, so any loot from CMayong/TNT Mayong, and anything from Tender on in EH is still unlooted on our server. Avatars were a pipe dream.

Ring: Burdened Signet(Crypt)
Ring: Ring of the Four Winds(Coil of Vile Spawn for heroic trash)
Wrist: Bracelet of Thuuga(Quest in Kylong)
Wrist: Tormented Bracelet of Doom(Doom in Kunzar)
Wand: WoCP(Unrest)

If you guys see anything that is replacable through heroic/solo content, by all means point me in the right direction. Otherwise, i'll be keeping my eyes open for the raid drops once a handful of people learn how to maintain their power and we drop Ventril.

thats like one of the easier pieces to get that real nice - not when u've gona to Vaults 20+ times and you don't get it.
and the 4crit doom bracelet is better than the 2 crit one

definitly spacing out on that last post, not sure what else you can do for your wrist slot, i like the thule bracelet still, not sure if the matron bracelet would be worth wearing anymore, reet helm is decent, can always get the 5% cast speed helm from deep sebilis, hmmm CMayong should be easy to take down and still has some decent loot, would be worth getting the orb and coin.

Tried some gear swapping for last night's raid. Had some consistent parses around 4k, and even got a 9k going on Selnok before we wiped(still learning the encounter), but its definitely looking better. I died 19 or so times, and still parsed 2800 on the night.

Oh, i died every single attempt on that mob last night, still parsed high as shit. Gotta work with my zerker on his aggro control. Too bad finding a paladin to bring with me is never gonna happen.
