Warlock vS Wizard VP set gear

So, how the FUCK does 30 seconds off of upheaval compare to 15 seconds off of bolt of ice?!?!?!?

Explain.

The bonus is real good, especially when u're capped on spell haste, upheaval is a great spell to cast even on single target with FH.

15 x 2 = 30

Pretty basic i suppose. Juxtapose 2 wizards side by side then place them next to a warlock and the balance of fate evens out.

Well, it would help to have avatar gear from last tier like the Robe of Al'Kabor for casting Upheaval to be a feasible spell in your scenario. But wait.... they took out all those contested, so PST players can't even roll back a tier to get them, like they have every other tier. But then again, they also took out the Dreadscale Greaves for warriors, making it a item of near mythical nature, so this tier is full of firsts. And yes, I know they're bringing the Avatars back, but yup... I still play PST, so not going to happen even if* the robe still is on their loot table, or some item better. I simply took comfort in the idea, all of last tier, that I might be able to still get the item being PST by going back a tier for the kill.

They have to give us a reduction on bolt of ice, there is no other route. Otherwise every wizard would be using Temporal Foresight pants with Ice Nova. They set themselves up for that one.

I don't mind them giving a reduction on ice bolt, just give us one on armageddon

. They already get an AA to reduce its timer.

Oh, but I like knowing that I don't want my warlock set even before I get it. Isn't that the goal? To work for items you don't want?

The hat is nice. The rest just goes to show SoE doesn't try to make amends for us, since they gave us terrible gear effects last tier as well.

I guess we don't complain enough? I then will formally request they include as part of a LU better set bonuses. Who did they consult on these set bonuses anyways? I would gladly give some advise on what effects would be beneficial to warlocks if they only asked, while still keeping things in perspective (on par with other gear, at the least be as good as legendary quest items). I just think the sets should matter, for all classes.

feedback threads on them were huge prerelease, they just chose not to change them.
