It looks like you have to harvest them, as Saltaf tried buying a smoldering material off the broker and that didn't update, it follows that it would be the same for the roots.

Anyone willing to lend out a vent server to increase the amount of info we can pass onto each other? I know we have the ww chat channel, but the more ways to pass on info the better I think.

As I said in my post above yours, they need to be harvested. That is why it says "fresh from the ground" amd "untouched" for the smolderings.

And on that note, I want to borrow the horse shoes and rabbits feet you bastards were born with, who essentially got 16 rares in such a short amount of time harvesting.

I got the funky names mixed up, I was reading lore on the Anathaeum EQ2 lore website about Nektropos trying to find clues for the Epic quest, I mixed up the names in haste.

It isn't Krytoxx, it is some other funky name of some thing one of the Everlings worshipped..Although checking to make sure wouldn't hurt any.

Most people probably know but don't forget that mantrap roots also come from the bushes that provide the provisioner stuff. There is a good harvest spot in JW just NW of Venril's Crown. I think it's NW anyways..I'm not in game atm.
