Epic mobs in Kunark will now have increased wisdom and resists. To compensate for the increased resist rate a number of debuffs have had their chance to be resisted lowered.

We new this was comming but this one

SPELLS

• Hostile maintained spells will now drop if there are no valid targets in the area.

I'm thinking this means Gift and Neatherelms is going to become situational even more so, Kinda screws the propagation line more.

Kinda gay wonder if that means if you get feared or knocked back out of range with these spells on that is drops when you are out of range of the mob.

Jousting means timing these spells and there goes precasting them too.

What about our Acid Pet will it drop too!

DO YOU CAST THE SPELL ON A MOB/ENCOUNTER? If yes, then it will drop when said mob/encounter dies!

DO YOU CAST THE SPELL ON YOURSELF/GROUP? If yes, then NOTHING WILL CHANGE!

It's not hard, HOSTILE spells, not beneficial spells will drop now. That means your swarm pets instead of following you around when the mob dies, will *gasp* disappear! Oh no, a HUGE nerf to the Warlock.

Both Gift and Netherelms are hostle spells that are maintained and cast on yourself.

They both give notification when no target is in range so they will drop when nothing is in range so I think my point is valid.

In group situation those pets would still continue to damage other mobs pulled so yes another nerf, look at our Mith Epic

hmmm i dont' read it as a nerf, I read it more as say you cast something like volatility on a mob, and the mob dies, you still get +20% range on your spells, I take that to mean it would drop so you couldnt get the benefit on the next mob. Just my interpretation though

I'm hoping that the hostile spell nerf thing will be more in line with Pillaging line...right now we cast it on the mob, and it continues pumping mana even after the mob dies. Hopefully it shouldn't effect emitting spells like Netherrealm/Swarm pets/etc.

The resist thing we knew was coming. I just hope it doesn't hurt us on yellows, where melee hit rates are still pretty good. And I hope it actually makes +disruption useful. But if wishes had wings...
