If you have the Alkabor robe obviously the Trixy cane would be rather useless compared to the Mask, but seeing as not everyone has the Avatar robe, the trixy cane is still better.

What about the fact u can hit 90 castspeed permanently and 100% under proc in raid? O.o

So u don't need trixy and Alkabor at all,or I am wrong? :/

Al'kabor owns flat out because of the reuse. It makes a noticeable difference that I can't stand to give up for anything else atm. (and the reduced resist makes me feel better inside when its proc'ing )

Trixy IMO is a million times more amazing for a wizard than a warlock. The deaggro is always up, which never can hurt in all scenarios. The cast speed is only half the shining bonus of that effect. Al'kabor's proc wont increase manaburn cast time while trixy cane drops it from 5+ to 3.6 seconds. Not to mention when you hit rock bottom power, the 50% power reduction is amazing, as is the constant group power restore that is proc'ing, which half the time manaburn itself procs my power regen from it hehe. And that cane makes getting power back up to full with constant chain pulling in under 4 min a lot easier.

thats just my 2c on where I see the Cane shine, not sure that a warlock would have any desire for its amazing power management while for a wizard it makes manaburn feel like another casually cast spell in my chain that takes little effort to support like it used to. And I just like to never run out of cast speed!

Apples for apples comparison, trixxy cane is better. This gear thread does not look at the capping of stats, that is up to each player to look at on their own based on what their toon has.

Personally I do not have tnt cloak (Only seen a couple drop and have gone to other people)
I have never seen Al'kabor drop in t8. The only t7 that i saw drop was a week after I had to swap to my guardian to tank for my guild... and it dropped off of Hate (who should have been dropping my bp for my guard)... anyway, grats Aalaria.

Both yes and no.

It is a good item, but the rarity of the aria coupled with the other items available it just isn't worth it. Would hate to see any scout/mage not able to get a death chimes, any scout not able to get the neck cause a mage wanted symphonic manacle unless it is broken for the better in some what that I am unaware of.

Is the qeynos clamore item (the arm of mithaniel) worth getting at lev80? I could solo 90% of the timeline and it seems like it would help with resists and the threat reduction looks useful.
Then again it's a pain in the ass to get (still might need a raid for tyrinax) and there's a question as to whether raising your skill levels actually does anything.
