Interesting information that I personally don't give a shit about.
And you can't honestly say that increasing one of the stoneskin procs can relate to increasing:
1 ring
1 earring
1 belt
1 robe
1 forearms
1 shoulders
you are comparing a 4% boost to a 23% boost to stoneskin proc chances.
23% because the earring is only 3% and can only modify proc chances to the point of doubling original amount.
And lets say you have double prop...
Comparing 8% to 43% boost
and yes the math changes a little cause some are double stoneskins like the wizard set.
What the guy said was pvp and prop stacking issues. Wizards require outside prop bonus and are 1 of 6 mages. He was talkn about the other gear.
But I appreciate you sheding light on the fact that your set still gets boosted.
