Gotta love when we're not considered top tier dps in raids by the damn devs themselves

All of this data is something I will keep analyzing for sure. This is why I am trying to keep to small adjustments like I have said in the past. In the meantime though, we need less of these outrage threads because they do not end up helping you out since they are distracting while trying to find the few good suggestions from the level headed folks.

You're pretty much making blind interpretations here. Just because Aeralik didn't mention warlocks doesn't mean hes intentionally left them out. Aeralik is a smart guy, he would know that warlocks are t1 dps.

Sure, we're not first tier DPS against single mobs. But we haven't been ever since LU 13.
Of course that's assuming the people who play the Warlocks, Wizards, Assassins etc. play their characters equally well. I'm well aware that we can easily outparse other DPS-classes on single mobs...but honestly, that's only because quite a lot of players don't know jack about playing their class.

But it's not like we don't do any damage to single mobs. And it's not like there aren't any linked encounters at all either. In VoeS I do 40% of the group's damage for example, and I still have mostly Adept III spells.

I love my Warlock, at the moment more than ever. And I totally agree that we should lay low and shut up, before SOE takes a closer look and decides in their neverending wisdom that we could use another nerf.

They already saw us enough to nerf propagation which was one of our biggest assets in terms of raid utility and made us revise our gear choices. I think that was rather the reasoning behind the nerf rather than everyone crying about that nerf for months.
I've made it clear in previous posts that i'm not a big fan of all that max crit logic, i'm all for procs and they made sure to force us into their stupid RoK logic. On the funny side i finally got the Gloves of Sagacity last week and plan on using them full time after LU44 hits and the VP jewelry gets upgraded.
About what tier dps we are, its all situational - buffs, gear, types of mobs, types of encounters. On the average i'd say we're t1.5.
