Here is something that I was thinking about and thought would be a good idea.

Ring of Poison
Master I

Deals great amounts of poison damage to all enemies surrounding the warlock.
The damage of Ring of Poison increases for each impairment placed on an
enemy by the warlock.

Target Self
Power 367
Casting 2 seconds
Recast 1 minute
Effect Radius 15 meters
Max AOE Targets 12

Mastery Disruption

Effects:

Casts Poison Multiplier on targets in Area of Effect
> Inflicts 1039 - 1984 poison damage on target

The concept of this spell is to work sort of like Fatal Followup but not based on what you did in a duration of the past but rather how many impairments you have on targets in the area.

Effects that would apply:

Netherealm
Cataclysm
Armageddon
Acid
Brood Infestation
Aura of Void
Curse of Luclin
Vacuum Chamber
Curse of Humility
Pillaging
Vacuum Field

Obviously not ALL of these will be up all the time. And I know I missed a few and I ignored stuns cause they don't last long enough to matter. The concept of the spell is to give warlocks another PBAOE... as it stands we have only 2 (not counting netherealm) PBAOES (Upheaval and Cataclysm).

This would add some extra coordination to the class for optimizing dps and would give reason to use our two curses.

Lets think of some ideas and we can critique them here. Even if it's too late for this expansion we can get our ideas ready for updates down the line.

IMO, our limited pets needs to get a look at, they're quite useless due to their low health so they usually die instantly.

+ the fact that they don't get stat bumps w/ our gear
i see swarm pets as fancy dots problem is they don't use our crit or dmg mods or +sd

The main thing that all swarm pets need is aoe immunity. And I don't necessarily mean 100% immunity. If you had just 67% chance to avoid aoe damage, for example, then you would on average lose just one broodling per aoe.

Spells, buffs, temp procs, that give this to your pets and/or to group/raid members pets would be well worth while. Give small aoe prevention for swarm pets to multiple classes, but have it stack, some to group, some to raid, some personal.

Have it cap for most folks at 75% or 80%, so pets still die, or have it just supermitigate aoe damage. Whatever, both these options help to balance the 'instideath in raids' from epics vs. the balancing that has already been done against solo and heroic mobs.
