Robe of Hatred VS Dark Power
The title pretty much says it all.
Wondering what exactly makes Dark Power supposedly better than the Hatred robe.

Obviously its situational, but for a warlock that doesnt kill avatars (at least not on a regular basis) I'm wondering what makes Dark Power so much better.
Assuming that a sample warlock has a decent BoE mod and high spell crit (say over 95%) raid buffed, which of these two robes would come out on top? Though Dark Power has the dispersion effect and the additional 4 crit over Hatred, the Maestro robe does add 550 spell damage to Distortion, one of our highest dps spells on single target mobs.
If the warlock in question had high spell crit, wouldnt Hatred be more viable? Has anyone tested the two robes?

If you havent got anything worthwhile to say shut the fuck up thanks, havent got time for retarded comments :P

Re: Robe of Hatred VS Dark Power
If that bonus kicks as much ass for warlocks as does wizards - I'd say wear it. Makes our BoI hit hard fk cause I believe its base dmg added. Don't know how you guys fair with it though.

Yes,it adds 550 base dmg on Distortion,so it raises max hit up to around 1000-1400 dmg.
Using this robe for solo-encounters is the best idea IMO.
And as it was already said before,Dark power robe is better for AoE encs. // Oh,and maybe it can be used on trak(situational).

Re: Robe of Hatred VS Dark Power
I'd pass on Hatred to our wizard on first drop but I'd defo burn some dkp on second drop. It's all situation for a warlock Id say. Id like to see an average of how much extra Hatred actually adds on distortion since it's "up to" 550 additional damage, not a fixed amount. If anyone has worked the figures I'd be interested in that info, especially since any additional damage for a maxed out lock is a bonus.

Have u read previous post,eh?
OK,one more time,in SOE mechanics "up to" means that it is base dmg.On equip robe gives exactly 550 to Dist,in raid it is around 1,5k to maxhit and 800 average(depends on crit u have in raid).

Re: Robe of Hatred VS Dark Power
I'd too rather pass Hatred onto a wizard in the raid, I mean wtf, 2000 extra damage and warlocks gets 550?
Displacement is nice but IMO, it's a robe more fitting for PVP. There aren't many linked raid mobs and bosses so if you have a tank that knows what you're doing and if you use your two deaggro spells, you probably will very rarely have a mob hitting on you unless it's AOE.
So ah, I think Hatred roob would be better for you, us warlocks needs all the extra DPS we can get in t8 with the huge lack of encounter mobs.
Unless you get aggrod alot when you raid, then you should just go for the dark power robe.

Good point, but you are forgetting Distortion has a much shorter reuse compared to Bolt of Ice. Wouldnt they equal out in the end? Depends on how often you cast Distortion I guess...

Oh, probably true, I don't really know the recasts in the top of of my head. Or well, I dont even know the recast timers on Bolt of Ice, but you might be right. I should check next time I log on.
Still, I suppose I shouldn't complain, 550 is a helluva lot still and us warlocks aren't supposed to be top damage dealers against single targets anyways.

Well, I just checked the reuse timers. Warlocks can cast distortion about 5 times and wizard one time so it's an awesome boost (2500 extra damage!).
Though the robe must be a beast in PVP for a wizard.
