New TSO AA's and respeccing?

anyone do this? just kind of wondering what kind of setup you would use and which AA's you would want to drop from the other tree's to gain in TSO

Fooled around with dropping proagations. I still put the points into gift and realm, but dropped the endline and the other procs. Not sure what I think of this so far.

Also tried dropping the KoS str line, but my gear and self buffed crits aren't as good as most of you probably so I'll likely go back.

Just tried it while we spent a couple of hours working on new raid mobs so it wasn't the best comparison of the different specs. But dropping both let me spec into the sorc AA's on the new shadow line.

I have 32 pts in new line.

+hp5 +mountspeed5
Strike of the mage 5, Rune of protection 5 (i think that's what it's called... the magi shield), Bewilderment
Crit mastery5, sorcer mastery5, Thunderclap

I dropped propagation and dropped some of the extra points i had in sorc/warlock trees as well to get those points transfered to new line.

I have STR4448, AGI 46481, WIS 4648

Hastenings I have 3 5 5 2 5 1 (3 dissolve, 2 encase)
Explosives I have 5 in everything (lot o encounter expansion) and 1 in bottom ability.
Plan on workn my way down propagation to get 5 in gift and netherealm again. Will be getting bottom of wis line if I start to have any power issues on mobs. To those with not much power gear, possibly better to get earlier than later.

ok cool thats what i was thinking about dropping part of wis line and the prop/hastenings to get more AA's into TSO side

This is essentially what I did, except I didn't drop any from STR/AGI/WIS, instead I spec'd to 3-3-5 on explosions, and dropped all props like you did. I also did exactly the same spec as you for hastenings. I know I need gift and nether back, that's a big loss, but too many AAs to make it all happen.

This let me get like 15 or so points into the sorcerer branch. I now have 21 points in it and have started back into finishing explosions back off, then I'll work on props until I get 170.

The sorcerer Magi shielding buff that drops the damage on things that hit you is great, at 5 AA it's up to something around 214 less damage on every hit. Probably on par with the 6 or 7 points in the refreshing ward, which I dropped to get the TSO points going, it helps a lot mitigating choker damage.

encase is hardly gettn the amount of play it used to with the addition of thunderclap and bewilderment.

but I haven't cast dissolve once since then... which is why I plan on respecing out of strike of the mage and going resists cause its something i will use from time to time.
