I don't think that the wizard AAs are incredibly better than the warlock AAs.

There's no doubt the Wizard ones are better; I see 4 good non-endline abilities in the Wizard line and only 2 for Warlocks. I think the wizard endlines is better too (why oh why didn't SoE swap plaguebringer & hailstorm, and just change the attributes).

But the difference isn't so great that I'd throw a hissy fit over it. (After all, I used to play Berserkers and Paladins, now that was stuff to complain about ) I think the warlock EoF tree was > the EoF wizard tree anyway, so it helps balance things out.

I don't see many warlocks complaining how things turn out. Honestly it seems like stivan does the majority of whining for us

Pretty much.

All things considered... EoF/Rok and TSO trees... warlocks and wizards are more balanced than people realize. The warlock AAs in the TSO tree are not that bad. That plaguebringer spell is probably going to be very nice for warlocks. Judging by its base damage and cast time.. it will be somewhere between ball of magma and bolt of ice in comparison to wizards. The only thing you could argue about plaguebringer is the recast time and i will totally agree with you... this should be the same as hail storm.

lock/wiz aa's are rather close and yes, plaguebringer needs its reuse fixed but it wont so locks might as well deal with it. but yes wiz ones are still better by comparison as if u look at any two counterpart classes one is always better. balance is impossible because one side will always be better even if its just slightly. i hate to say it but for once stivan is right...
u do have to realize tho stivan that some of the locks who were whining about aa and no tso love were also making comments like on their server the joke is that sk's > locks...suffice to say they suck at their class and should /quit irl anyways. so i highly doubt aa's is the least of their problems.

edit: i can't spell worth a damn

/shrug Wizards .... /boooom.

I just think people can't handle the fact wizard AA's are in fact better then warlock's. But, since we can't do anything about them, gotta learn to deal with what you got. I have nothing against them honestly(aside from the idiots who use rays.) We definitely got more loving in TSO then anything but still not as much as wizards. I'd say betray, but that is MY opinion and only because If you do though and need help on anything, you can find a lot here or send me a tell blackburrow.berrbe will answer questions whenever long as i'm not raiding.

All I have to say is one thing... there are enough AE fights in the TSO raid zones. I think they did a good job balancing the AE and Single Target this time around.

And yea pyro... those warlocks were cursing the sky was falling for sure. I'm glad to see the warlocks with some sense are seeing that the grass is indeed greener.

I can't wait for everyone to have 200 AAs and more new raid gear.. it will be interesting to see some parses and ZW comparisons.

once u get into the 170's of aa's dps changes become quite obvious. one of our wiz's has almost 180 now and he's definitly started to pull away from my lock and the other wiz thats in guild as we only have like 165? or so. im still waiting to get my upbeat tempo tho so i can compete on a more even scale. thats really my major beef with aa's besides the reuse on plaguebringer. the lock "equalizer" for tc is all the way at the end of aa lines and we have to wait for the damn troubs to get to it lol.

single target, what are you seeing your wizards parse?

Cause a number of warlocks I have been talking with are running 11-13k singles on palace trash

pretty much the same numbers for warlock in my guild (with troubs mini tc). Last time in palace with 168 aa's I was running around 10k on most fights (a few times lower than that) and some fight's I was closer to 11.5k. Will try to get into raid next time we start clearing palace to test our end line abilitites.

I usually parse about the same or more as our Wizards on single target.
