Hello, I just started playing my warlock and I cannot find a single reason to use this spell. Can you please explain why should I spend 2 sec to use it, instead of just using these 2 sec to hit mobs for much bigger damage with my damaging spells?

historians say that this spell may have once been used to collect nil crystals. they also note that the change removing the requirement of nil crystals made this spell uterly useless in pve and mostly useless in pvp

i think every class has at least one completely useless spell. there was probably once a good intention behind it somewhere, but it got lost long ago. a lot of warlocks bitch, the rest of us just deal with it. besides, we have to get t8 manas somehow /shrug

its for when you cast it on a mob and its killed within 2 seconds then 10 plat will drop.IMO its overpowered!

It is still useful solo'ing. Should reduce the number of spells you have to cast to kill something by 1 and it won't break root as it's a debuff. Similarly it can be used at times in raids or groups where you don't want to damage the mob for whatever reason (waiting for another group to finish some adds or something), but it adds a bunch of aggro...

But, otherwise basically useless.
