Anyone notice any changes to our AA Vacuous, our 15% hate gain or loss?

like seriously? i start off my cast rotation with distortion or absolution or something all the time. why not start off with a good size nuke that is highly dps effecient. get better tanks. i remember in eof dakkota would open up with ice nova and fussion all the time. especially if it was a new tank he'd test them that way. why change ur rotation to do less dps if you dont have to. demand more from ur tanks and or teach them to hold better aggro imo. though, that seldom happens :P

I use that AA in my group spec. Helped a lot when you had a group without any hate transfer.

But we're way better off for aggro control anyway with our dehate position proc on our mythical. It's like bewilderment going off randomly once every 20-30 s or so, and can proc on encounter spells too

In fact, it may be even more important/useful now that the devs want taunts and detaunts to be the key to hate control. Vacuous could give all the mages extra detaunt if they all get something like the new Boon, but that might just be sorcerers....

And don't forget to cast your new concussive whenever it's up! roflol.

Well the current version is listed as a groupwide +15% hate gain or +15% hate loss.

Since it looks like all agro control mechanisms are changing into effects that will be modified by this, it might actually become more useful.

Not sure I'd spec into anyways though.

7.7/min, if you are at 100% cast haste and 25-40% recovery, will be about 12-13/min actual proc rate, or every 4-5 s on average, or about once every 3-5 spells. Good for a long fight, certainly. Still not completely reliable, I hope they add the 8% dehate like the wizzies have on test.

Let's see, back of the hand calculation, if you are pulling 8k, then you are doing 40k damage in 5 s, and get 3k dethreat, about 8% on average reduction in hate.

Will be interesting to see how it all works out...
