BEST class to Multibox DUO with WARLOCK?

What is the best class to duo with a Warlock that will be conducive to multiboxing?

Please remember that I will be controlling both classes by broadcasting the same hotkeys to two versions (two accounts) of the client.

I thought at first about just running a second Warlock. It would be the simplest and I would have insane AoE.

Then I considered a healer, probably I would want the best single target healer that would be the simplest to play - so i could spam 2-3 hotkeys and keep my main Warlock up - in this scenario the Warlock would almost be like a tank (which when talented correctly Warlocks can be pretty tough with Nullmail, all the AA buffs to Magi's shielding etc).

Or instead is there a different healer class that would have the best buffs for my warlock and debuffs for my enemies?

Would there be any reason to run a wizard, coercer, or necromancer etc.?

It CANNOT be a melee class due to follow macro issues and positioning complications.

I thought maybe a necro so that the pet could tank and then we could nuke?

Or maybe or coercer who could charm mobs to tank for us?

It must be a ranged class, ranged class with pets, or healer.

I want to maximize synergy and sheer badassness.

If some of you with deep knowledge and experience would chime in - maybe even with some discussion of mechanics and strengths vs. weaknesses that would be great.

I do NOT need technical help - I already have everything working on a technical level just fine.

Tank, healer, aggro control, and good AoE's = Paladin

Paladin would have been the optimal choice, but they are not looking favorable with the recent fighter changes. My advice would be to go with either a defiler or a mystic, as those healers are the easiest to multibox with prewards and long cast times.

i duod with a templar when 70 was the cap in sos and poa for claymore.

so i vote for a templar if youre going to pick a healer.

I have had a lot of success with duoing a Wizard and Warlock together. It is alot like soloing, except mobs die much faster and root breaks a lot less.

I'd pick the wiz/warlock over two warlocks primarily because you get to see both sides of the sorcerer and its a little more interesting than running the two of the exact same class to me.

Two warlocks would of course be amazing AE damage.

id say lock/fury. fury has int+power buffs. and if ur gonna be root nuking. fury has nice nukes and nice heals.

how do you set it up so if you are two boxing and you hit 1 it uses the # 1 key for both EQ2 boxes?... i wanted to try a duo box as well

Best is Templar, no other class can beat that shit...

I two box a Templar all the time with my Warlock and you can really fuck shit up.

They wear plate so can take a few hits which works well for casting reactives early, stoneskins and manacure rock. I was mentored to 61 and tanked all of SOS two boxing a templar and cleared most of the X2 named in ToS (for AA)

The easy answer is not to use the 'broadcast the same key to two instances' method. Warlock + Necro is the best duo option in terms of survivability, imo.
