Ah.

Most gear threads made in class forums apply specifically to raiders.

When I created my thread, it was made with the sole purpose of showing where to obtain the best items in the game, and ranked them on what you should wear to obtain max dps.

I suppose a thread for more casual players would make sense since the game is dying.

In previous years the game didn't have 19 instances with a few fabled items from each. Game is loaded with gear out the ass now, i'll be damned if anyone can make a mage gear list without smoking crack.

Most definitely, but then again a lot of the fabled drops outta instances are shit..

But, yet again lol ... Most good instanced fabled(I said most) isn't as good as raid gear.

As stated before, greater void bane is really good dps, and quite frankly if you have/tc or upbeat or a sk there is no need for the Shiny metallic bullshit.

And as Xede said, if you can't get a hold of this, or any raid robe try for the shiny metallic robe or varsoon's robe

that may be the case, and yes it's nice to be able to look and see "well item a is the best, but until i am farming avatars b will do," etc. but nobody should really be complaining about the list if they didn't take the time to make it themself, or at least to help provide specific suggestions for it.

Always open to recommendations. send me a pm or post here and I'll add them as they come.

Stick to the form of ranked of best to meh pieces for each slot.

People should be looking for upgrading, not moving laterally or backwards, and ordering items by whats better shows them along what lines they need to upgrade.

Otherwise, it just becomes a really shitty mess of worthless links.

In theory this is great, but almost no players see 100% eye to eye on such aspects. That is why these list are kind of ballpark guides. Even if a peice is missing from the list, it should be intuitive based on the list where the item would probably fall. I started one for the wizzy forum but havn't finished...its such an ugh task lol.
