New Gear Thread

[Fussion]

Considering our gear thread was last updated in September of '08 (pre TSO), I thought I would make a more current one.

Most of the items I'm listing should be attainable by the average player...some will be raid content items. This is not a complete list, but a starter guide for warlocks looking to upgrade some gear. I'm gonna try not to put a bunch of legendary stuff on here as there are tons of those items that are all mediocre. I am going to put some legendary gear that stands out from the rest.

this is a great start, i was in the process of trying to update the other thread.

are they really in any kind of order (im asking this cuz praetor's guard isnt better than dark orb of the mind..). I think the avatar loot should be added too.

leaving out legendary might be a bad idea. there are a couple pieces that are amazing... for example, the forgotten ring of souls is really nice for the greater void bane proc and the 5% base damage to spells. empowered magic is pretty sick. spell crit bonus is also an important stat this expansion and shouldnt be looked over.

In each situation, some gear is better than others for different slots. Instead of getting into the specifics of which is better in which situation, I didn't list them in any specific order. I'll make the recommended changes and add avatar loot. Thanks for the feedback.

My 2 cents, we can't wear the obsession bracelet from Varsoon.
Greater Void Bane = win atm.
Sony tried saying they fixed it, no didn't.
I wear the melee/caster wrist from PoF for most shit just because I melee a lot
It procs off auto attacks and spells.
To put into perspective, and because I'm gay and don't have act logs.
In palace my zw was 11k, If i remember right 180k or so raid dps(probably mistaken) it was 600 dps for me.
It procs a lot.

I could add more but I am drunk and not making sense as is, so will come by later when i'm sober ^ ^

Hq reward - think its called return to the past, has quite a few different names reasoning being it breaks into like 5 different hqs(headache)

I would use the robe of dark over this buy have yet to get it and since vp = dead for the most part I gave up on it.
I think this robe is nice, procs quite a bit for me, stats aren't the best but aren't horrible..
Personally think its the best atm for peeps who aren't in a avatar
raiding guild or for the few who are, and are on the waiting list for the evil avatar robe.

Shiney Metallic Robe proc is nice. However, when u have TC or tempo it's usefullness drops down a notch or two. I never wear it during raids.
