What's confusing me is how anyone has time to research eq2 warlock spell efficiency while playing AoC PvP RP. I mean, doesn't being a badass and beating up other players while staying in character take up all of your energy?

forget spell cast order, the most important part of pushing warlock buttons is timing. timing is your nr1 ally. between each spell you should also wait 3-5 seconds before casting the next one. when you get better at timing you can probably reduce that a little.

Errm

1. Roll = RNG(Min to Max) [Calculated from Previous Steps]
1a. Crit Check (Did it Crit? Yes/No) If yes then...
2. Dmg = Roll * CritMultiplier
3. If Dmg < Max+1 then Dmg = Max+1

Roll * critmultiplier is guaranteed to be bigger than max + 1 these days, so you take the average spell damage and multiply it by the crit multiplier. That's sorta the point here.

Read his previous posts. If the min/max ratio of a spell is less than the critical modifier the slightly complicated non crit max + 1 rule dosent apply.
If you dont understand this you dont know how how crits and/or crit mod works.
