Those are definitely good points. I just got my robe the other day and I am missing couple other base spell dmg pieces so I'm just getting into that range of base damage.

A good guide for sure, but I have two very minor issues with it.

1) I think STA is better than STR for leveling up. It means your roots and encase are resisted less. That's pretty important for people who don't have +50 disruption/subjugation from gear.

2) I don't have enough AA's for nether realm in the EoF tree yet, but the reuse timer starts when the buff drops, so the benefits (unless SoE added 10 seconds to the reuse if you have the AA) of the shorter duration AA are going to be, like you said, the faster cast time and the fact that it will work better on shorter fights, but also the 10 seconds off the reuse.

I could be wrong there if SoE added 10 seconds to reuse compensate for the shorter duration -- like I said, I don't have the AA yet.

dude this guide is badass.

I've recently rolled a warlock, now that there is nothing to do on my Necro except wait for items to drop off bosses, and this has helped a LOT.

Great insight and info. Has made me think more on changing a couple of things I was not 100% on.

It is funny that on page 1, Cabbie asked a question about crit % and the very next post, lightcloud busted on him like a retard but ended his post with a question as well. Lol @ people owning themselves.

Btw this is (I think) supposed to be a thread for warlocks helping each other out to better understand your class and make you more of a viable player. More group hugs and less acting like a stupid fucking kid.

Does the dmg absorption reduce inc power damage as well?
