My mostly T3shard geared lock completes Rime faction quests by hitting acid storm, running round til I have 10 mobs, then when nullmail kicks in I hit FC, rift and cata (if needed). Writ done!

I suppose my point is, everyone's tactics are sound for, say, JW mobs or single arrow heroics or whatever, you're a Mage... Soloing is what we're made for, and there isn't really a right or wrong way. Hell, get your endline abilities and soloing in Fens and KJ becomes a matter of hitting freehand and plaguebringer.

Actually (and I am not trying to be rude) going out and figuring out what is best for you by yourself and figuring out your capabilities will make you a much better warlock than trying to use someone elses soloing tactics.

Great solo tactics can save shitty and non shitty groups from wipes.
