Anyone test the Plasma Wand and Vine Wrapped Boots?

I had heard that the boots were not proc'ing properly prior to the patch which has been supposedly fixed. My question is has anyone tested to see if they both proc as they should, and do they stack. I was told they did not prior to the patch but with the fix to brainstorm stacking with other damage modifiers leads me to wonder if this was also included in the coding? Can anyone confirm this? I have a Plasma Wand but I don't have the boots yet. I have a Bark of Growth so I will soon enough.

Even if the proc effects don't stack, I still have a theory that they should be worn together to provide tighter damage boost coverage.

Agreed. Would be nice if they stacked though...I hope someone can test this out.

Would you check that by looking at the base range of damage and then getting both to proc and checking it again? If so I can take a look tonight if no one is home : ).

I think the best way to check would be to only equip one at a time and get eash to proc and compare the numbers. Then equip both and see if it adds them, takes the first proc, or the highest proc. Also make sure you don't have an Imbued Moonstoone Ring that would change your INT thus changing your numbers as well.

Mine was something like 14pp. I wasn't particularly proud, but at least I wasn't feeling insecure. :P

Well the procs are still odd IMO. check this out

Vine wrapped boots make ball of lava increase to a higher amount than Wand of Plasma does. On my sunstrike spell, Wand of Plasma increases the dmg more than Vine wrapped boots. So i wouldn't say they fixed the boots neccesarily. Either that or Plasma wand increases more than it is suppose...on some spells. Not sure what the proper 'stacked' amount should equal but...in every spells instance...if the vine boots and plasma wand went off, the dmg was higher than it was with only ONE of either.

Just what i've noticed.
