I have been playing for a year and a half now...Warlock was my first toon shortly after having my husband get me started and I love my warlock....only problem I am the only Warlock in my guild. I know I can do well but have never been able to achieve more dps till recently after reading up on spell order and it has helped tons.

I would love to get some advice on how I can improve. I am mostly leg/fabled now...just started playing the warlock again and need adornments yet. Oh I also joined the world wide channel as well

spell quality is a big part too...make sure you have all m1 or ad 3 minimum for your spells. Keep your dots up at all times, constantly cast aura as soon as it is available to use as well.

thanks for the tip...all my spells are adept 3 or better...slowly working on getting masters but I rarely see em drop and soon as one does in guild I get offered it

I know my husband will sometimes run his own parser while we are raiding with the guild...and everytime soon as he says "your #1 on the list" I got kaboom hehe

What do you look like gear wise?

Few must have items that are easy to get include

Mystical orb of the invoker
Necromatic orb of the death reveler
Bone Clasp Girdle
Ring of the 4 winds
Grizzlefazzle Staff
Wand of Crystalized Plasma
MOA

Any DPS caster I played would have those fairly easy to get items asap.

its skill not gear that makes the warlock. gear just makes you look special! it helps yah but i dont have mystical orb of invoker, nrcromatic orb, ring of 4winds or wand of crystalized plasma and my single target can get 2k+ at times depending on my group obviously.

wow I have none of those items lol...mainly I have a lot of relic gear and the fabled staff from labs (which I love). skills I have been working on...don't get me wrong I do my best on raids and apparently its a good one if I get naked :P having a tank that lets me ae on raids and doesn't yell at me for doing so helps tons too

The reason why they mention those items is that they all have hostile spell damage procs on them. Its free dps, and when you have a multitude of them your dps skyrockets.

ok took a look again of all the items there I have MoA and that's it...I think I have been working on bone clasp girdle not sure. Anyone know where all of the items come from aside from moa? really really appreciate all the feedback its great

Bone Clasped Girdle - Draco Mortuus von Liberatio Heritage Quest - not only a good proc but a debuff as well

Mystical Orb of the Invoker - "Orbs: Mystical Orbs" collection quest. Should be cheap. Add on a +14 INT adornment since it lacks stats otherwise.

Necromantic Orb of the Death Reveler - Drops off of Empowered Xuun'vok the Death Reveler in Forsaken City. He's Epic x2, but should be one-groupable by a set of level 70's apparently.

Grizzfazzle's Walking Stick - Do Grizzfazzle's Errands, a very simply quest in bonemire which ends in a Den of the Devourer run.

Blood of the Brood Watcher - Drops of off Vraksakin in Temple of Scale. Temple of Scale looks just like SoS architectually but has different mobs. He's a contested 72x4, but can be 2-grouped.

Fitzpitzle's Misty Protector - Second-to-last reward for Claymore.


There are many others, but this should be a good starting point.
