if your going to take some big jump off of a cliff put on the fae wing cloak, any guild that has entered EH has one for everyone and their alts its not like they are rare. Its not hard to have both cloaks on your hot bar and switch them out quickly if you need to make a jump. I might be missing the reasoning behind this so if I am let me know b/c to me the reduced falling damage on your cloak is totally worthless.

personally I have no adorn on any of my cloaks, none really seem worth it - as you said, fae cloak or LoN cloak for big jumps, or even a parachute pack if i'm feeling adventurous!
