When LU13 hit and my guild broke apart I made a Warlock and brought him up to 60 pretty fast. The class owned for lvl 60 and they still own at lvl 70. You just have to know how to play the class right.

My warlock is currently gimped because I went back to my Guardian for T7 content tho.

In order for Warlocks to "own" at the moment there needs to be a lot of things fixed, and with EoF I'm hopeful but I'm not holding my breath. Apparently I don't know my class though..

Warlocks just lack that wizard zip and pep. If a wizard is like field artillery, then a warlock is like waiting an hour for a B-52 to bring its payload.

and any kind of serious single target dps. I mean hell, I know tank classes that out dps my warlock on single target encounters. But then there is nothing fundamentally wrong with that right?

I'm sure not happy with the warlock class as it is right now, but there is no way a fighter can beat me on single target. Here is the my zone wide parse in HoS on our last run (besides warder, Venekor and 2 or 3 trash grp its a single target zone)

I died a few times iirc (2 times during bloodbeast , 1 time during warder fight, and also *hide* killed once by 1 of the trash statue's AE ) so i should be able to parse better.


Here is my DPS on Pain during this run (should be about the max DPS i can reach against single target)


I had Troubadour and Inquisitor in my group, no synergism and no Harmonious link.

OFC a good wizzard will own a warlock in this zone (stealing Renaven's parse)
Now AE wise: a good wizzard can easely match ur DPS in a zone like Lyceum which is the AE zone of the moment (let's not forget that a necro and conjuror will easely outDPS a warlock in Lyceum)

Don't think warlocks are all that broken, we normally just give ours a paladin and he can just go nuts. Heres the zonewide from our last lyceum run.
