    I have the support spec only because I want to test it out and know how to play it correctly as our G4 warrior will be required to run this while raiding if it plays out as successfully as it looks for buffs/debuffs. Sucks that they changed a few skills to be like Jester Cap in EQ2.

    I'm not happy with the changes they made Tristerin....I hope it doesn't stay the way it is.

    Yeah its pretty pointless, you build up 3 attack points in ~5 seconds, but are stuck DPSing and not utilizing the class correctly.

    For an offtank build I had been considering Paragon as the DPS soul due to 14% Parry, a 3 attack Parry and 10s every 30s pretty much giving oyu mass parry. Seemed like it could be handy for stepping in short term or aginst trash.

    Paragon is (currently) the better DPS soul then the champ build. Two handers just arent putting up enough numbers (unless that changed in Alpha)

    End Game Tank (THEORY)

    A fantastic thread from the official forums on end game tanking theory.

    Personally, I think that you should have issues holding aggro with three defensive souls, but for anyone who has tanked in beta knows that is not the case. I suppose in this point in time, it's just a game of figuring out how much of your defensive capability you can sacrifice for more DPS without it becoming too large of a detriment to your healer(s).

    I do not agree that agro should be an issue with taking 3 defensive souls. You can say they are defensive, and that means that they defend the group by keeping agro, not just by survivability. But like what has happen in EQ2 already, people will figure out the best dungeon tank/dps builds(SK/Zerker/Paladin) and then also have a role for tough as shit mobs that needs the most defensive abilities you can muster.

    What happens in EQ2 right now is that you get hate buffs and smash your face on the keyboard. That is, unless you're an SK. In that case, you don't need any buffs.

    Say things remain pretty static with how builds are working or what classes will be getting what skills - anymore feedback on the builds I linked? Positive or negative feedback requested please, no dumb troll shit. If you think I took something incorrectly please share why and why you would go another route.
