Wizard duo with Wife

Let me start off by saying thanks for your time. We haven't played EQ2 since beta but we are jumping back in. My wife is going to play a Dark elf Wizzy on a PVP server. I have always stayed as far away from casters as possible. I have a few classes I am interested in and was wondering about the pros and cons of them duoing with a wizard.
The classes I am interested in proceeds as follows.
1. Tank Type Shadowknight/Guardian
2. Scout type Brigand/Assasin
IF I have to play a caster just because its a better duo then
3. Inquisitor
4. Coercer
5. Necro
Which ones would be the best, or atleast viable for pve/pvp? It seems anyone can solo in EQ2 so is great duo parties just min/maxing?

As a Wizard, I've found duoing with a Paladin isn't too bad. They can output *some* DPS if they try hard enough, and they can heal themselves quite well, plus, any aggro the Wizard generates goes straight to the Paladin with amends, anyway.

If you're looking to be evil, then I recommend a bruiser, as I've started PvP with one, and it's rocking my cotton socks. Pretty damn good soloing, especially at the lower levels, and should be able to pump out enough DPS to make sure that any aggro the Wizard gets will be towards the end of the fight, when, being STA spec'd like every other PvP Wizard and plat farmer in the world, she should be able to take the last few hits.

Fury might be one of the better options as you would be a good pvp healer and you have some decent nukes as well. Also you get movement speed buff which is very helpful.

For pvp you want a brigand or a swash hands down. Wiz and Brigand or swash owns. We have taunts, you ave manashield, we both have dps and stuns. I duo as a swash with a wiz in t8 and we rock people.
