t7 vs t8 gear

Like the wocp and cloak of unrest threads it seems pretty common for t7 items to be picked over several t8 items, how would you rank each of the following? Math is more than welcome, and/or the reasoning behind the choice. Each case is assuming you haven't already maxxed out on cast speed or crits etc.

Personally if I didn't have the ToNT ring set bonus. I'd roll with Burdened signet and ring of four winds. I would choose 4 winds as the sources for gear that reduces reuse timers is limited in comparison to ways to obtain BoE and crit chance. Ring of supremacy is retired for good imo. Shit never did much more than 20dps anyway.

yeah Dakkota I never got the ring, just the earring, there is much hate for the golems so I don't see much chance of going back. I can't see ever replacing the crystal gift though, unless I get another item that allows me to gain power back quickly on the fly. the utility of that earring cannot be overstated.

Shake you might want to add Crystal Gift to the list of earrings.

If cast speed isn't already being maxxed by other sources Nagol's 5% is a good option as well or for when cast speed may be taken a hit such as groups versus raids or raids minus tc etc.

I absolutely agree Ring of Supremacy was always a bleh dps ring, ok for its time only because of selection but far as proccing... miles behind bcg, mooti, necro orb, gloves of sagacity, thule bracelet, Vzee'rist's Sash and even botd.

Anywho now that we have expanded selction some would love to hear thoughts on each category.
