I'm a bit astonished by the low quality of this set.
For same difficulty of fight, you find much better for each piece
For example

• soulsiphon leggings are much better than the pantaloons,
• Nightblack hood is better than cap

Now if you have 3 pieces, you add a +5 abilities casting time. But I wonder if it is really worth loosing so much intelligence and power (and effects as well) ?
I think not, am I wrong ?

The whole set is pretty much worthless. You can build a better set of gear from other solo / heroic sources (if you dont raid).

Well that legendary set is just about as worthy as the EoF legendary set was. /shrug the 3-pc bonus is nice until you replace a few slots with heroic gear.

yeah it all is terrible. i wear none of it now. had the whole set. still have a few pieces unnattuned. meh. even the fabled class gear isnt that great.

yeah and it is also with a very nice bright yellow; I like it. Just a bit expensive to wear in appearance slots. Like a deadly canary.

It depends on what slots you get them for. Int is easy to cap and the only time i run out of power is in CoA. The 6 pice set is ok if you want to look like you just got peed on.

They have great resist and mit on them, I know not all of you consider that on your gear selection, but as a pvp mage you kinda have to.
