im sure the "raid version" will probably be really good. the group version is still not better than a lot of other weapons out there. take wocp for example... thats a proc thats an 8% increase in base dmg.. thats pretty significant. someone would need to run the math, but i really dont see this weapon being better than some of the other things out there.

Even if the raid version is completly awesome, that's not an excuse to make a shitty Heroic version, some people maybe won't be able to get the raid version, I thought it was the idea behind the two steps, to have "casual" people able to still wear a version of the epic.
Well, the casual people will just go farm wand of plasma or Drusella Dagger.

edit : by the way, it is really ugly, wtf a bone thingy, are we shaman or whatever? I want a fucking wand of uberness that flash fire and ice all over the place, not a fish on a bones. Caveman wizard isn't really how I thought my character.

I think that is the Epic 2.0 from EQ1... I just wanted the SotF (epic 1.0 from eq1) only animated... I mean who doesn't like spinning spires that shoots light when it procs?
