Also, check around, that mob is not the only mob that drops that ring. It is looking like any named iksar in the zone drops it.

The hint states a powerful necromancer should have one. That necro on the Danak Shipyward docks should just give me a quest to get one.

Been there, done that, wiped. A second group met on on the way down, and wiped multiple times. DPS is horrible, horrible in some groups, horrible!

Maybe they should have made it a little clearer when they announced these quests and instead of calling them "free-gimme-birthright loots" they should have called them "Epic".. um. er.. wait....

I got the RNG on my first kill on him (lets hope OP knows that the ring is a body drop and HE needs to click on the body to see it). All the other wizards I know personally got it off him on the first-kill too.

Well good for you, grats!

And if you actually read my reply you would have seen my reference that the drop is a body drop for whatever reason!

Was able to obtain an update in deep chardock solo. But I died and instead of waiting for rezzes andwasting my time i just took help from guildies who were coming up the same path.

If you had a clear shot at Kotiz 1 v 1 it should be doable with TC imo. =p

as for the op... these quests are nothing compared to eq1 epic quests... infact, i felt like our epic quest line was too easy. so man up and camp the mob you need and stop starting bitch threads.

So because its aim for casual player it should be a joke to do ? Jeez, you want it in your /claim reward instead ? That should be casual enuff for you.

So you camp him for 4hrs and didnt get it, its suck but get over it.
