few people have been asking me what the best geared wizzie should look like. so thought it was reasonable question since some were from non raiding guilds and hadn`t raided lot of t7 or any t8.
so throwing it to the wolves, max out crits- get out of t7 gear- no NO adept1`s. bit of feed back would be good to see.
I for one like tinkering for wizzies stuff is so handy- COT- the repair bot- fd`s etc etc.

I think what he is asking besides the obvious things like getting rid of your t-7 gear and upgrading all your spells, What items are most important for a t-8 raiding wizzy to have to maximize his ability ina raid situation.

or at least thats how I read it and if its not what he is asking I would like to know for my ownself.

I dont think getting rid of t7 gear is an obvious thing.

ToNT set bonus, temporal foresight pants, BCG, necro orb, WoCP, Dark orb, are all fine t7 items. Upgrade as much as possible through quests, you can get pretty well legendary'd out through RoK quests. Grab some loot here and there - every group instance has something to offer for mages. Ad3 your spells of course.

Some T7 gear is still valid, at least until you can get VP replacements. A good example of this would indeed be the pants of Temporal Foresight as previously mentioned ,but if you are gonna hang on to your pants of Temp Foresight then ensure that you also have Ice Nova in your hotbar, not just Bolt of Ice as the latter does not benefit from the decrease in recast time or so I am reliably informed.
