SOE hates wizards dueling

so i'm sure you have all done it, duelfest in SS. it's fun to try and participate in these events when you go spec manashield and full pvp spec. But the fun stops there. the resist rate in dueling is so fucked up that it makes every single mage class gimp.

I have 11,500 power and 8500 hp which equates to a ton of HP when manashield is up and all that meens nothing when i can't land but 1 out of 5 spells.

As i understand it wizards can hit just fine on the PVP server but the pve dueling is fucked up. I just get so aggrivated with these other classes that rape in duels and knowing that if i could just land some spells they would melt.

So in short, fuck you sony

Ive learned that all non mage classes - if they player is good/spec'd right they will pretty much beat us. Illusionists, of all mages, are probably one of the deadliest in a duel. Necro undead tide can be pretty brutal too.

lol, wizzies are a battle of resists. Landing surging tempest is half the battle, landing bolt of ice is the other. =(

I've never been interested in dueling so although I can understand and sypathise I'm not really qualified to add my opinion although I offer my support

don't you have any unresistable spells that u can chain cast?

I live by my warlock's unresistable dot when it comes to duels.

no we have no uresistable spells except manaburn but thats worthless in duels

But yeah I have beaten every class at dueling when I was a wizard. Monks and Brusiers are the worst to try and beat =/

Warlock have it worse off btw.
