If you're at all into high end raiding the% of crit that you have is insane, so catalyst is completely useless. I'm running over 70% atm, and don't even have any VP gear yet, No real need to force a crit when there's 70% chance it will do it on it's own
Yeah, I am at over 50% with mostly legendary gear and could get to over 60 with a couple rare instance drops and higher than that with potions and temp adornments. I haven't even done any of the T8 raids yet...soon...soon! Can't see any reason to get Catalyst.
Well, I grabbed Freehand and I am pretty happy with it. My ice comet hits ridiculously hard. My other character is a coercer, so I'm all at what wizards can do.
Get rid of catalyst and PvP'ers wizards might be unhappy. Despite crit chance in PvP nothing is better to a wizard to make sure that freehanded nova lands critical. Least so I've heard catalyst is still really huge for pvp wizards. I don't think they would ever touch it just because raiders have high crit chances and render it damn near useless.
I would be pissed if they messed with it on my pvp wizzy. They already hit wizzys big nukes with the nerf bat a while back. Now that you have more aa's you can be more creative with multiple options, but I am spec str on my pvp wiz. str/sta/wis right now. Someone have a better option let me know.
