Compiling a table...

Hi, fellow DPS-Providers,

i currently try to compile a table where i can see the differences between the DPS Providing Add-Ons on our Gear;
for example how BoE relates to Crit, or a Recast % to Cast %....

Browsing the Forums, i got the following List:

1) The Boe / spell crit comparison you have there looks more like level 70 EOF numbers.

2) It isn't necessarily as easy to quantify some of these relationships as you may think. There isn't strictly a linear relationship between all of these variables - the worth of increasing one, in some cases, very much depends on the values of others.

3) Your numbers for spell haste and spell reuse strike me as off. And as I have said before, any spell haste directly impacts your dps, whereas spell reuse will only impact dps if it is significant enough to result in a change of spell rotation (as most of our spells are relatively short recast and refresh while we are already casting something else).

4) You are obviously trying to compile this to better evaluate gear choices, but really, for the most part gear choices are incredibly straight forward.

And I guess since you asked about the other caps:

Spell haste: 100% (or 50% reduction) of the base value - i.e. 2s spell caps at 1s.

Spell reuse: same as spell haste - e.g. bolt of ice has a 45s base recast - so it caps at 22.5s.

Spell crits: cap at 100% - though there can be some variance on the stated value based against the level of the mob you are fighting.

I agree with those who already posted. For BOE, I would not use 15, but 25.
Of course it is just an idea and can't be taken as if it was god's truth.
