I'm currently working on this. Feel free to post things you think should be included in this thread. The objective is to put all the information in one place and minimize the stickies at the top of the forum.

The purpose of this thread is to consolidate any information you might need as a Wizard. Over time I will add any links I feel appropriate to add including temporary threads pertaining to a current issue.

Be sure to include instanced gear or heroic named gear that is good. People who need these kinds of threads probably aren't raiding Leviathan daily.

My suggestion is to include the typical wizard raid gear from tier 8 Instances however may not be needed because it is listed in a stickied post below this one.

I'm going to do that, I've just been too lazy. I imagine I'll do it in the next day or two.

However, it will not list gear from last tiers Avatars since it is no longer obtainable. If you have that gear you should know if you should be wearing any of it.

Well, i've started reworking my way through that guide i made during EOF, and there are still a lot of changes i need to make - but gear selection is definately something I will be including.

Honestly, I think I'd rather have the gear in a separate thread in addition. It just makes it easier that way.

I think people would pay more attention to a gear thread if it was seperate.

Hello,

I have read your thread, and it is EXTREMELY helpful. I am a new raiding wizzie trying to increase my dps.

I read about the average effective dps for each spell; I was surprised at the results.

Do you recommend putting the spells in this order on my hotbar, and then using the most efficient ones first, as they refresh? Or is it better to use a different order, to increase overall dps?
