I still use it on some fights with a lot of inc dmg, i.e. small dmg shields, weak aoe's from adds etc

As Fomka mentioned already - it is situational ... still worth using on fights like Trak.

Someone who has the Hood of Dark Dealings can you tell me how much it's adding to your parse? Our Illy got it tonight and it procs a ton adding about 300 dps to his parse on trash. Anyone got numbers for a wizard? I'm trying to decide if I want that or the VP set head.

Even without results. It's pretty straight forward to me that I would drop 2% crit to gain 5% casting speed and a 100% damage proc that spikes for high amounts. Are the numbers needed? =/ Unless your speaking in terms of that hat verses set bonuses, eh maybe.

It is simple, using the gloves instead of the hat for the 4 set will net higher results when you have the soh hat.
