A few notes about GU44 for those not following things.

1) Our Epic has been fixed. Although the display has stated 10% base damage it has been giving 17% base damage. This is now fixed and only giving 10% (this is where top Wizards are going to notice a dps loss but not be able to place the reason). Combine that with melee getting a boost and expect to fall on the parse.

2) Set bonus's are changing as has been evident. You are probably going to want Pants, Boots, Hat, Shoulders.

3) Shard of Hate is coming out so there is probably more loot to want, if anyone has any links or screenshots could you please post them? Also realize that while the links work on live they are probably not correct and the item is likely different on test.

4) VP loots if being upgraded so there may be loot that was useless that now worth getting. (There is for the scouts anyway :P)

Yay, DPS up to the skies with GU42, dropped down like mad with GU43's lag, got some new gear (choker at last, amongst others) almost back to GU42 level and now... Back to square one.
