no problem is with buffs and such they parse better then any other mage class atm.. its annoying cause I brought up a wizzy to parse.. I got a 53 coercer now I have to bring up so I can again parse.. its getting old changing classes.

Same zone he did 6039 I did 8039. I mean i know a mage group is pimp shit and all but I don't think its an extra 2k dps pimp shit - esp. giving raidwide potm and stuff.

They are on par with illusionists. Put equally skilled/geared/buffed sorcerer up with an enchanter...and the sorcerer should be coming out on top. I really don't see the big problem. Doesn't anyone think it was total bullshit that all 5 mages could own the parse and coercer's were left behind in the dust? Now people are crying foul cause they can parse like a mage in Eq2.

They simply were brought up to par with illusionists. I've known good illusionists who out parse wizards all the time. But they don't outparse the wizards who are just as skilled as them. Skill can go a long way past toons ability. I knew an illy that used to make pick up raids think their parse was broke cause he out dps'd all the wizards with TC and mage groups...this was in t7 btw. Coercers have been long due in being brought up to par with their counterpart enchanter.

The basis of this thread is megalulz worthy.

No good Wizard should lose to a Coercer. If for some reason your in a guild that uses a Wizard in the MT group and a Coercer in the Mage DPS group, then I guess its a possibility.

If your in the mage group and your losing to a MT Coercer, then, woah.

I lose to the MT coercer every single parse. Granted, I don't actually cast spells. I am trying the whole melee wizard thing. Its going well.

Basically in Beta, I used the T7 AoF Bo Staff and raped in melee duels.

If the coercer is geared up pretty well, then yes, they will outparse a wizzy. Then again, maybe the coercer I raid with is just fucking uber.
