Just for the fun ! : what is the worst duo for a wizard ?
let's suppose you want to duo some thing a bit hard, like outside seb ring.
After some LD and ISP no more answering, my 4 players group turned into a wizard/assassin duo. Really bad, because assassin nor wizard can't tank those 3arrows mobs, then have to range fight. Of course I can cast 2 roots, but did you ever see an assassin with a bow ? ROFL, he breaks root faster than I can recast.
Really fun, but not effective at all.

Is there somethg worst ?

I'd rather solo than duo with a dps class. All they do is break roots with pussy attacks and make it take longer and get us killed half the time. I remember back in the day this necro wanted AA so he went around with me to kill the names in Bonemire. First fight he attacked the mob and almost wiped us. All the other names I told him to just sit there and watch me kill it. Went a lot smoother then on.

ps. Ill duo with an illusionist because often they can spam attacks yet keep the mob stunned/mezzed enough so it never charges us anyway. I'm sure duo'ing with another competent wizard would be successful too. As long as both wizards do the same routine and make sure they have roots on all the time, prolly be cake.

I sometimes duo with a friend who is a troub and it doesnt go very well. I pretty much have to let him beat on it till its at 75% and then burn it down before I steal aggro and it charges me. Trying to keep it rooted is almost pointless

Dakkota, look at the question, I'm asking what is the WORST duo that you did ! it is supposed to be a game, then why not try funny things ! of course we knew we were gonna sux a lot ! We could kill 2 of the giants anyway, 3d got us. When we came back they were respawning, I did not even know they could do that.

Any fast hitting scout that don't know how to use a bow, any summoner who thinks that their pet can keep aggro from anything but a crappy summoner or any tank who think he can tank shit without a healer and end up dying just as he breaks every damn root there is.

Best duo, any player that has a fucking clue how a wizard works and simply play their class as a wizard - Snare/root/long delay attacks without dmg procs. :p

I levelled 70 to 80 duoing with an assassin, it's all about knowing each others strengths and weaknesses, and using them as an advantage.
