Although wizards dps output doesnt suck it's def not where its suppose to be.

And for people like Lauraliane stfu really. I searched all threads by you and havent found one parse...theres no toon linked to your name. To dps well you have to be strategic about +spell casting +crits +dps +reuse etc...you cant put on garbage and randomly cast like you make it seem to be so stfu. Playing a wizard takes skill.

And I have checked the parses I see NOT ONE wizard parse close to 9k-11k WTF are you people blind? Get some dam glasses. Drop the egos jesus christ.

I started playing AoC, Demonologists were subpar, people spoke up as A COMMUNITY threatend to leave the game, signed a forum petition.

What happened? Demonologist spells increased 200-400 % and now they dps up there with rangers/assassins...
WHy because 1) their lead dev doesnt play an assassin and
2) the community didn't have ego issues and was consistant

Wizards will never change thanks to people like you.

Sorry, but Wizards are fine. And no class in this game takes very much skill. In fact, Wizards probably take the least amount of skills to maximize personal dps.

I've gotten plenty of 9k+ parses, but single parses aren't a determinate of overall quality of the class. I'm sure there are a number of other wizards who can say the same thing. Thing is resists got fubarred, and are in need of a tweak, but it's not like that makes us a useless class. We are the consistantly the high mage parsers, as well as while assassins can consistantly outparse us, that doesn't mean they always do. The is nothing wrong with the WIZARD class, there is a problem with MAGE resists. If you don't think that, maybe you're doing something wrong, or not getting the right buffs. All mages see this same problem, it really needs to be addressed, but claiming that it's a problem with wizards just takes the focus on the real problem, mob resistances.

yeah...using manaburn. and then there goes your zonewide parse due to loss in of what those 21 AAs in Power (which has NO Dps boost aside from MB) AND regaining mana(so let me guess now we have pally+coercer+troubie+illusionist attending to the wizard need so he/she can dps on the nextarse) Waste of a spot...a hassle

Pinski, you parse high prob higher than 99% of wizards but believe or not you have 1) the uber gear 2) the makeup/class support 3) the skill and prob more masters than most of us. THis is not the case..and Im sorry to say you cant outparse a 1/2 decent assassin zonewide with the same skill/gear. (no disrespect)

-Not gonna be rude to you as you actually had some structure to your post and appreciate yourresponding in this manner despite the egotistical bastards...you were decent in your post.

Now that statement has one problem. If Assassins are constantly outparses us and we need 6 classes to dps wouldn't you say that is a little unbalanced?

ANd for people posting all these parses with MB please dont show a single parse...show me zonewide...which actually shed light on consistancy.
