Did SoE Crap on us some more?

After LU #43(-wis -spell resists) my dps has dropped even more. not only am I not keeping up with assa dps but now brigands, and swashs are ahead of me on the parse. Basically all scouts....

Our raid assassin is hitting 9k I am hitting 4k...with troub/tc from illus and dehate.

WTF is wrong with them?

Do they really want us to leave this game and hit up an MMO where guess what...wizards/sorcs can compete for the top spot?

Hmm, I am not sure about that. I think the main problem come from the itemization, as a wizard we often only have one or two choices for a "really great" item for each slot, and they often comes from very rare/high end mobs. Avatars, Byzola, Trakanon.

In the contrary scouts have a huge choice for their itemization and can relatively easily reach a state of "power". Look at the choice they have for their secondary weapon or ranged for example, now look at our choice for secondary and ranged ? Trixy cane, Dark Orb, Trakanon Gaze...

QFE. My wizard is fairly new. only 1 or 2 masters, still pretty average gear and im stilling hitting 4k-6k easily spiking much higher. Always beating our brig. Couple of masters and replacing a few pieces of gear and ill be topping the parse every fight.

It really depends on the zone. However, with the recent lag patch I don't know how much better VP is. From what I heard from some strike members, it was easier to parse as a mage in there, with less lag. I beleive it. I am mostly concerned with SoH, where there seems to be the biggest discrepancy because of the short duration of the fights.

i dont parse great in soh but then i dont expect too resists are unsually high on my big stuff in there and with the chain pulling im looking at consistently low power even with my crystal gift x2 regen and running totems

yeah with fixed lag it is easier to dps in VP now, I was hitting up to 7k yesterday in 2nd wing on my noob wizard with usuall troub illus group.

I hit 5k+ on VP Trash without Mythical / TC... while in SoH with TC i rarely pass 3,5-4k because of insane Resists. In VP wearing the Crimson Robe is no problem, while in SoH and without a Warlock / Trouba with Castskillbuffs, i get resisted every 2nd spell, so... DPS depends heavily on.... damned much for casters...

this was in our t1 zones night(we do all t1 zones on one night). I usually parse higher on overking and levia...havent made it to VP yet. On SoH forget it with the non-stop chain pulls and resists...

so all you wizards /agree with LU43/44 and say it was justified/doesnt affect our DPS? This community has some people with major dissonance issues hence why the class will never be up to par with assassins...drop the ego, really... It's showing.
