I thought the base damage was based off of the wizard casting it,.. the only thing that the other mages bring to the table is their own crit chance, resist chance and any modifiers after the base damage that the wizard owns

Everything is based on the actual person who gets the damage, not the Wizard.

nope, when you check the parses then youll see the difference....as for my raid normally the illu had the highest hits, due to their aa spec.

Then our 6 piece bonus for our set in VP means jack shit... not that anyone would use it.. but i just wanted to point that out

Well, the problem is with your 6-set is it SHOULD effect everybody in the group, but just like all the bonuses that apply based on set that affect others, it's broken and doesn't work. But it'd help you!
