Right now I do have MB and I'm finding it to be pretty useful.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the manaburn spec, but I personally have a hard time justifying it. As Stivan suggested above, there are a number of temp buffs that help with a wizard's DPS in this spec, but that also can help others in raid often with greater effect. I cannot personally justify asking for a Jester's Cap over our brigand who can up the DPS of everyone in the raid, or a Bolster over a tank, a rogue who is staying in melee range for swiping a mob, etc. Jester's Caps, Bolster and many of these kinds of temp buffs, for the mostpart, benefit many other classes more than a wizard, imho. I, however, will concede that raid setup (e.g., two brigs instead of one) can play a factor.
Strong power regen is required to make manaburn work. Placement in a group without strong mana regen will generally result in power issues for most. A respec mirror can allow you to switch back to a full fire / ice spec before a raid for a raid set-up that gives you less than desirable power regen, but you may have the time to call home, respec and then return to the location of the raid.
In addition, having two or more wizards in a raid often means that they step on each other's toes in both vying for these temp buffs (let alone others in raid) and in trying to manaburn a mob when they want to. Some of you will understand the frustration of casting manaburn only to have it not take effect at the end of the cast because of a new manaburn immunity.
Another reason I don't like manaburn is the stigma of being viewed as a one-button parser. I fully acknowledge that this may be a personal issue of mine alone. In KoS and EoF, I recall shaking my head at necros lifeburning and at the great disparity between their parses when they lifeburned and when they did not. Manaburn, although I think it's less potent, smells the same to me.
The full fire / ice spec provides strong, consistent DPS without temp buffs. There are many scenarios in which the manaburn spec can outpace the full fire / ice spec, but for the numerous above-noted cons associated with it, I am currently spec'd full fire / ice.
As the others have said, however, get a mirror and try both specs to find out what works best for you.
