Default manaburn!

so...my group set up is generally wiz, illy, troub, fury, lock and lock or necro.

I'm not using mb spec right now but we all have myth's now and i'm wondering with that set up if i should go ahead and go back to mb cuz of that. Or is that pretty much reserved for only if you use a mystic in the group? i just want to increase my zw not just have a super high parse every once in a while i want my zw to be higher cuz of it.
- any thoughts?

I would take it just to test how it works in that setup for you and if the Illy is good enough to get you power back. You can 'try' to time MB with a jcap or a manafeed from an illy. Generally in my experience people can get pretty weird when you ask for that stuff all of the time.

Right now I do have MB and I'm finding it to be pretty useful.

Try it out and see how it goes for you, some people seem to have greater success with it. That Arabel fellow sure liked it. I'd just get the mirror deal and spec it off and on.

i was thinking that would be enough, i may try it next time we do cod or pr or something. we also have 2 coercers and they are pretty accurate with there feeds and our illy is pretty good so i think that might be enough but i'll give it a try. thx .

Personally I think you get a more consistent dps increase by having the full Cold/Heat spec as opposed to MB, Manaburn creates its own set of problems and the conditions really need to be "just right" for it to work to its maximum potential. Like Stivan says, try it and if you like it, keep it. When I had it, it certainly was fun to see the 105k, 110k, 115k hits and to pretty much "auto-win" a trash parse, and it certainly helps for Trakanon, but consistent dps became a larger issue for me, thus the heat/cold spec.

Currently even with the heat/cold spec I'm having a lot of mana problems in raid, so definitely something i'm looking for solutions for.

my raid group is always like me, troub, illy, fury, lock, and necro.. on most fights i can go for ever with mana.. like Milyex Vioren in vp can be a good 10-15 minute fight i stay around 90% whole fight. with heat and cold lines say on trash in VP im around 6k-7k. goin to give MB a try and see how it goes.

Right now I have all my AA's down the heat and cold lines, with Ice Shape. However, I have my last 5 AA's unassigned and don't know what to do with them. Any advice?

Speaking of manaburn and manashield, I don't know much about these since I haven't used them. I think it would be helpful, if possible, to include in the consolidated wizard guide an outline of what lines to spec down for certain kinds of mobs/certain named. Thoughts?

It isn't anything to do with certain mobs, it is if you aren't going to have any power problems manaburn is probably beneficial.
