Re: Answer to the question: Should I respec when TSO is released?
When you can spend those points aside...
Do you have any hard numbers for this determination of what to spend, when and where? What's your logic? How do the DPS comparisons look?

spend 10 minutes looking at them when shit goes live and unless you are retarded, you can easily figure out the best spec for our job.
and business is looking very good, btw

Re: Answer to the question: Should I respec when TSO is released?
I just got Gwanath transfered to the Beta server. Without going to the buff-guy, i went and bought a re-spec. With only 140 total AA I was able to do exactly what I outlined in my OP. If they change it before it goes to live, I'm wrong, but currently with the way it's set up on Beta, you can respec into the TSO achievements.
If you want to log on the Beta server with me, i'll show you my AA.

Re: Answer to the question: Should I respec when TSO is released?
Comments on what you propose specing
If you put points into consolidation early in the expansion you are retarded. HP > Power by far, especially when survivability is going to be the prime concern. So Magi's Shielding > Consolidation. Not to mention that in an AE heavy expansion power does you nothing because Manaburn is not good for AE.
The 10% base and critical damage AA in the Sorc tree is only for Bolt of Ice, not everything like you imply.

Re: Answer to the question: Should I respec when TSO is released?
Maybe i'm wrong, but no wizzy tree = no velium gift/ice shape/reduced debuff resistability.
tbh id rather respec my str line than doing this, but i haven't played beta so maybe crit will be as awesome as many ppl say~~

You'd be correct in thinking this. If it was possible to respec day one and respend points in the TSO tree I'd probably go back to something of a KoS spec, Agi Wis + Fire Ice (as in 50 points in each tree like in KoS) and then spend in the TSO tree. I'd get Max Health then whatever in general, Magi's Shielding and Solar Flare + Final in mage, then Flames of Velious, Bolt of Ice, and Crit in sorc tree + final. Depending on how the raid content is, I'd probably take those remaining 3 points and put (and possibly the 5 from flames of velious) and put them into Fire/Ice trees. I'll log into beta later and screen shot what I'm talking about.

Re: Answer to the question: Should I respec when TSO is released?
I dunno Slippery, I was thinking something along the lines of this.
KoS Tree:
Str 4448
Wis 47482
Agi 46482
EoF Tree:
Ice Spears 3/5
Bolt of Ice 5/5
Solar Wind 3/5
Electron Storm 1/5
Surging Tempest 1/4
Fission 4/5
Velium Gift 5/5
IceShape 1/1
Solar Flare 3/5
Magma 3/5
Flame 3/5
Exothermicity 1/5
Total: 33 Points
TSO Tree:
10 in general
Mage:
5 in Magi's Shielding
5 in Solar Flare
1 for Mage end ability Bewilderment
Sorceror
5 for 5% Crit damage
5 for 10% Base + crit for Bolt of Ice
5 for Enhance Ice Flame
1 for Sorceror End ability Thunderclap
Total: 37 Points
I think the Str line is more beneficial than the EoF aa, especially if (like me) you don't have 100% crit all the time. (I'm sitting at 86% right now)
Those of you who can get away with dumping the str line without losing 100% crit, are in a different boat i think.

Re: Answer to the question: Should I respec when TSO is released?
I would agree with gwan's setup somewhat... but i personally would get rid of strength to have more poitns in the ice and flame trees in the wizard 1 tree... AA's, like the ones for our AoE spells will be very beneficial with the group instances at the beginning.

Re: Answer to the question: Should I respec when TSO is released?
I would not respec at all, just grind all new aa's and spend em all in the new tree.
