they did change it. Increases the deaggro by 4% each point.

not sure how it works on the wiz with the 8% dehate as it is. But the decreased threat numbers went up on the warlock one so would assume they would do the same for wizards

Hm, the Wizards one gives a flat out Number (8% if M1), whereas the Warlocks give a Deaggro Procchance... if they upped it up 4% per Point, that would be 28% in the End and for that i would give up the IceFlame Enhancement i think... IF the Fighter Change comes out as catastrophic as i think it will be (knowing SoE).

Unless of course that 4% is not a 4% overall but a 4% relative to the 8%, ie. with 5 points in it, you'd get a whopping 20% more for a total of 9.6%.... guess I'll have to check out test.

Yes, they will change the game so there is no chance to do max dps without dying. That will make things fun for their customers..

As things do stand now, if changes go live as they are, we're in trouble. The massive nerf/destruction of almost all hate transfers means we're losing both our once vital Troub de-Hate and the agro abilities scouts once transferred onto MT's/OT's.
Dehate is not a hate transfer. Confirmed they are removing the hate song, or are you assuming?

Quote:
Our DPS remains unchanged obviously, we just lose almost all ability to sustain it at current levels without getting agro. The 8% 'dehate' on converge is basically exactly like we had before (losing 4% and giving 4% to your MT fighter nets the same effective result comparing hate positions) The only addition is the dehate proc which will get you what, one free casting of Ball of Magma over the course of a minute?
Which means you can do one more Ball of Magma per minute worth of hate than your tank can generate - and they will be generating a *lot* more than they used to be.

Might actually be worth getting some detaunt AAs now. I hope your warlock respecs to Vacuous for you (+25% to all taunt/detaunt amounts), unless they change that, and to boot, you are forgetting that taunts (and I assume detaunts) will now crit as well. Hopefully the detaunts will crit based on spell crit, but we will have to see. Since it seems they will now be generating hate info in the log files now we should be able to figure it all out pretty quick.

Quote:
I basically see a 'DPS cap' as it stands now, fairly sustainible for most high end DPS and almost completely dependant on your main tank's ability to generate hate on his own. I suspect this 'cap' is going to fall lower then where we're parsing now (For the most part) If you try go over it, you'll notice it on the Hate-Meter 3000 and will have to thumb twiddle until you drop far enough down to blast of another BoI or Fusion.
Of course, the tanks are being given much better ability to generate hate now, and not all transfers, hate gain mods are being removed. We will have to see where it comes out.

If you do end up twiddling your thumbs, make sure you cast concussive as often as you can, it should come up faster now.

Quote:
The changes, frankly, make little sense to me. SoE is basically making one sole individual responsible for an entire raid's DPS. Previous to this, you could mix and match group combo's, scout transfers, etc etc and everyone played a part in helping to acheive max DPS. Now, you have one tank doing his thing and everyone else needing to stay below whatever he manages.
And also basically were 'forced' into certain group makeups for the MT group. That's one of the reasons to change it. But also the tanks were on such unlevel playing fields, making the taunts more important helps them level things between the various tank classes, to make it much more viable to have whichever class you want to be the tanks in your raid.

Dirge hate in my initial impressions was also nerfed. Taunts were a joke before. Substantially upgraded? Yes. Upgraded to the point of keeping agro? I just don't see it.

I hope to be surprised. I'm not looking forward to dying on every trash mob that the tank can't keep up with my DPS because hate has overall been nerfed into oblivion. Nothing would please me more then in 3-4 weeks not noticing a single difference in how I cast.
just tell anap to stop sucking ;)

but seriously whats up with the doom and gloom? get over it if you don't like it quit. I for one don't think these changes are going to make me want to stop playing my wizard and heck my other toon is a paladin and I'm not even worried about the amends changes I think they are giving us enough other stuff that aggro will be just fine.
