Robe of the undying...
Hey-- I was having an arguement w/ a friend of mine, and he said the Robe of the undying would not be an upgrade for me, and if it dropped, I should let him need on it. My arguement is that there is not really any comparable wizzy gear that is not raid- or avatar- gear.
I know it might help him MORE, but as far as i can see, it's better than ANYTHING I coul ever get w/o a raid....
Please advise.

That is one of the best instance robes out there. I think he is trying to pull a fast on one you. Jarsath robe of Royalty, Shiney Metalic robe, and Robe of teh Undying are probably teh best robes you can get if you are not raiding.

It's kind of hard to beat the +30% Inc Cast Speed of the Shiny Metallic Robe. So there's really no reason to even roll on that robe over a Summoner. Even so, the Jarsath Robe is only marginally beat by the Undying.
Edit: +30% is average over time. 1.8 ppm * 10s Duration / 60s = 30% on average.

True, nothing can truly beat increased casting speed for a Sorcerer. However, I would still roll need on the Varsoon robe...as its hawt appearance and the stats are nice. Gear is always situational and it is base of each players set up gear and group wise.

Just kidding. he's a good bud of mine... I guess I'll just have to get the Shiny Metallic robe, but It's imposible to get that damn Guk update so far....

I solo'd the robe quest line except for the updates I had to buy. Just get the robe! You know you want it! lol Its not like you will never run Palace and you will never see the robe again. Do what you feel its best for your toon.
