Rays when should they be used - Page 7

I can agree that Rays is a good DPS spell, as for damage/cast time it ranks up there with Absolution/Distortion from what I can tell but the fact that it interrupts you is really fucking retarted. The spell needs changed to force it in your queue as the next ability that is cast for all of the other mages, not interrupt. I really got pissy when I was 3/4 of the way done casting Armageddon and fuckin Rays goes off... fuck that.

About that time I think I started bitching about it to Stivan cause he was the culpret and AJ chimed in saying he never uses it anymore. I can see it not being an issue with Illy's because thier longest cast time is like 1.5 seconds on any spell assuming they have decent gear/group.

Stay 15 meters away from each other...problem solved

CAST MORE RAYS IN 09'!!!

It should be obvious to the hopefully, intelligent, raiding wizard...that there are some encounters you should not cast rays when groupped with a warlock or make sure you are 15 meter apart.
