Which would you guys/gals recommend to achieve highest dps?
The T2 wizard robe or the Shiny Metallic Robe?

1. There's a thread listing and ranking RoK Items, i recommend you to visit it.
2. T2 = Trak Robe? Because if so, anything is better than that.
3. If you're clearing VP, get the robe from Hoshkar.

i think he means t2 shard robe vs SMB...it depends on ur stats rly
compare what u need more/have less of

I would use the T2 robe if you are using the 5 set for the +14 or whatever base damage. If you are mixing/matching gear the shiney robe would be better.

test them, find a combat training doll and spend a few hours on them. Personally im not a fan of the shiny metalic robe, when i used it it didnt really proc all that often. If you are able to group alot head into crucible, there is a robe in there that drops of the master guy. i think its called the robe of the masters. but dont quote me on that. It had the same proc as the silk cloak from new tunaria and from what i can tell is alot better. i know 10% may sound lame incomparisson to 100% but it procs alot more and for longer time span. I also have the robe from soh off of kpul and unless its a long fight i get higher numbers with the master one. for really long fights the soh one is nice bc you can get several bolt of ice off in a fight.

That SoH robe is still pretty much one of the best. If you have that you prolly don't have to bother with the SMR n stuff. Unless ya want it in your bags for those groups where you completely lack all cast speed.

What about between:
Robe of Al'Kabore
Arcane Robe of Hatred

I have no idea, probably hangs heavily on base spell haste without the proc from Kabore.

I've never been albe to test the Robe of Al'Kabore since i dont have one so im not sure on that. Of the others you all mentioned i did some training dummy test the other night, and i know this will differ in longer fights and with mobs debuffed and higher lvl but its a base, And i found that the Shiny metalic robe yielded about 350 less dps then the robe of the masters average and 400 less then the arcane robe of hatred.
Basically i did 10 fights with each robe while runnign act, doing the exact same cast order and leaving out manaburns. The SoH robe beat the masters one by about 50 for these "zw's". I dont however have my 2 piece yet since soe hates me when it comes to set items and since our gloves are worse then the HQ ones all i have is boots. that being said im sure the SoH robe will be a higher gain over the robe of the masters when i tack on that 15% to boi base.

The robe of ancient terrors is better than it used to be as well with the changes to how spell damage is calculated. That's what I'm using as warlock, though I don't have the SoH or Hoshkar robe to test against. Our raid wizard seems to have switched back to it from Hoshkar, though I haven't asked what kind of testing he did, if any.

EDIT: SMR - depends a lot on how close to 100% haste you already are. It's probably much better in group instances or soloing than it is in raids due to that.

I have both, i can do some basic tests on them on some dummies but from what ive gathered so far the soh robe is better then the others i have tried. that being the shiny metalic, the t2 set one, soh one and the robe of the masters. From what i can tell it goes SoH>masters>t2set>shiny metalic. these are not raid tests though so longer fights and mobs with higher resists may change it up a bit.
